[ Michael isn't much for a holiday like Christmas at the best of times, and right now, his mood could see merriment far enough. Still, he and Alex have been kind of on the same page about that. He doesn't call, and he definitely doesn't stay, but there'll be a bottle of half-decent bourbon left on his and Bass' doorstep, with a note in Michael's writing attached. It only says, "Alex". ]
