[ Kyle looks nervous and uncertain but he gives a nod. ]

I realized after the fact that I was probably worrying you too much but it's brought up too many past fears.

[ Like Elijah coming back and having died. ]

I found Michael in a coma this morning. He is healthy otherwise. It happened with Elijah and some others. They get somehow sent home and even grow older, but they wake up here.

Fuck. Fuck. [ And Alex rarely swears, so you know it's serious.

And then he sighs. ]

Yeah, it happened to Max, too.

[ A deep breath. ]

He's still here. He'll be okay. It's Guerin. As far as I know, the worst has already happened to him.

Yeah, I know. There was a time Max and I were close and Michael let me know about it when it happened.

[ They hadn't been estranged, but Kyle had been dealing with his pain of the city imposed break up and hadn't been there for Max when it all happened. ]

He will be. He'll be fine. I hope you're right.

We'll make sure nothing happens to him. And either have to trust that he'll wake up or...

[ That 'or' is left unsaid, but Kyle knows what Alex is willing to do for Guerin. For any of them, really. ]

There's no other option. He'll wake up. He'll be fine and back here.

[ They just won't have a clue how bad things had been there. ]

And if he doesn't, we'll just have to find a way to go in there and pull him back. Somehow.
