I admit, I keep worrying about what Michael is learning and hoping that it all turns out good. Especially for you guys.

I don't even know whether it even matters anymore. Things have worked out, whatever the memories from back home. I'm pretty sure there's nothing that can come from there that can change my mind about anything here.

It matters back there once we get back home. I think about it from time to time, that's all.

I think it depends on how we get home. With our memories from here intact? I still don't think what happens there will change things. Because I've put as much if not more effort into my relationships here than I did back home.

And it's what I think about back home.

Who next is coming for the Max, Isobel and Michael? I think about that a lot. I worry about them getting sick. It's not the relationship you two have that I worry about, but what the world could do to us, to everyone.

Of course I have to be here. But not because I'm obligated to be. Because I want to be. Because there is no other option worth thinking about. You and Michael? You make me happy.

[ There was always that tinge because of this place, but that was hardly Kyle's fault. And the two of them made this place bearable. ]

Without knowing the whys or the hows, you know that we're still back there with them. If they get sick, they have you and Liz to take care of them. None of us are alone. Here or back in Roswell.
