Maybe, but even with the clones thing, there's still the comas. And that just doesn't make sense to me. Or where they get the memories we receive from the coma in the first place. I suppose it can always be explained by the biggest deus ex machina in the fantasy genre.
Maybe. But on the other hand, if a tree falls alone in a forest, does it make a sound? If we remember it happening, if we live our lives as if it did, does it matter whether it happened or not?
