Yeah. Things have sometimes been weird with us. On and off since the first time he grabbed my ass without realizing it was me. But he's been good about trying to keep me comfortable. But there comes a time when you have to get out of your comfort zone. Sometimes it's like pulling teeth and sometimes it's easier than you thought it would be.
I know the feeling. My life was all superhero type complications, which sounds basically the same as aliens. And sometimes included aliens, actually. I'm not sure which nonsense I prefer.
I mean, I went home when I took a week-long nap. But I didn't remember this place while I was there. I also know that Caitlin and Sara are still around in my universe even though they're here, too.
Yeah, but did you ever think about what was going on with your body back here? Ever wonder why you didn't need to, oh, eat or drink? We don't go anywhere. We just acquire new memories.
That's definitely a possibility, but I think it might also have something to do with the way they pull us from different timelines. Time travel is a thing I've dealt with a lot back home, but the way it works here doesn't totally make sense to me.
This sounds like the start of a conversation I've been having on and off with Tim.
I mean, I know about different timelines, obviously. I've seen too many Dick Graysons in the city and they're not all from the same place. But take Tim as an example. How can we know if he's from a different timeline or if he was just... Reset to factory settings, so to speak? He was gone for a year, but he's younger than when he disappeared. A little big younger than when we first met.
Oh, I've met Tim. He knows a version of my son, Bart.
I knew one of the Dicks, too. The one who was married to my other self. There were two of us here at once, but from different universes. That's a great example, actually. We'd met before, back home. During a time when the whole multiverse was being wiped out. Somehow he still existed when all other Earths had been destroyed, and I couldn't work out how. But yeah, there are hundreds of Earths out there, all part of different universes. They don't usually interact, but they can.
Yeah, I knew Bart, too. His version. You know, your world gets a lot of different versions of the same people.

Yeah the multiverse is wild like that. He hasn't even been born yet for me though, he's an adult and he visits from the future with his twin sister. I know Tim's Bart doesn't have Nora, either.
