By hands-on are we talking wet works or serving in combat kinda hands-on?
And I don't have ten years of experience but I do work with law enforcement in my city to capture and apprehend special cases. Those that are usually more extreme in their methods for various reasons.
Was I an assassin? No. I was foremost a computer geek, but sometimes lines get blurred, especially in the middle of a war zone. Did I do things I regret? Yes. Did I do things I disgust myself over?

[Not an assassin but still a solider doing as he was ordered at the very least. Tim hasn't got much more than that but it's a mentality he supposes he can understand. He is a type of soldier taking his own orders in a sense. It's just one of those orders is do not kill.]
How much of a computer geek? and would you be interested in meeting up? Training? and get a sense of each other in person.
I'm not worried about you knowing who I am. It is LIEs I am avoiding.
I won't force it. It is simply a suggestion and something that will have to happen eventually if you wish to work together.

I mean I could add consequences if you work better under pressure. Whoever gets the name of the other first pays for icecream.
[Tim figured that he has to be over 21 in order to drink but under 30 to find the fact that Tim can't funny. Not old enough to be concerned about Tim's own age and how 'dangerous' what he's been doing is. Not ageless as they seem to lack caring about the number that age is.
Its still a guess though. So many different worlds make this extra difficult. ]
